Heal from the past, thrive in the present, reclaim your life

A Little About Me

My name is Kody Ramler and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing in-person and telehealth therapy to individuals, ages 18+.

I believe that all people posses the strength within themselves to make the changes necessary to reach their desired goals. However, stress, trauma, life transition, grief/loss, etc. can make it difficult to identify and recognize these strengths and resources. Working in collaboration with my clients, I assist them in uncovering or rediscovering their inner resources and figuring out how they can be used to guide them toward the life they want to live. Through an individualized, trauma-informed approach and nonjudgmental stance, I show my clients kindness, compassion, authenticity, validation, and unconditional positive regard.

I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including domestic/sexual violence. Through the use of modalities such as EMDR, I assist people in processing traumatic experiences and reducing psychological stress. I strive to help them increase the emotions, understanding, and perspectives that will ultimately lead to healthy and helpful thoughts, behaviors, and interactions.
I firmly believe in the transformation process and the brain's ability to change, thus creating a powerful avenue for healing. If you are feeling overwhelmed, paralyzed, stuck, or simply seeking growth, I would love to connect with you!

Meet Olive

Olive is a 2 year old CGC Certified Cavapoo (King Charles Cavalier Spaniel/Poodle mix) who joins me in the office. She is hypoallergenic, LOVES people, and is a wonderful emotional support for clients. If you choose to work with me,  you'll also be sharing space with this sweet face and likely getting some snuggles if you're into that sort of thing.

Who Am I Quoting?

Some of my inspiration

If you decide to work with me, you will more than likely hear me reference some of the works of Brene Brown, Dan Siegel, Kristin Neff, and Dr. Becky Kennedy. These are founders and leaders in their field who I find inspirational and motivating. While their frameworks might not be for everyone, I find that their contributions generally resonate in some capacity and can provide insights and tools that clients find useful in their journey to wellbeing.

Brene Brown is "a researcher, storyteller, and (currently enraged) Texan who’s spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy." She is a research professor at the University of Houston, where she holds the Huffington Foundation Endowed Chair. She is also a visiting professor in management at the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. She is the author of six #1 New York Times bestsellers, and the host of the original podcasts Unlocking Us and Dare to Lead.

Get comfortable while (maybe) being uncomfortable

If you are considering therapy, I would love to support you on your journey. Please reach out and we can determine if I would be a good fit for your needs.
